What a Blast!

Our reunion was one of the best ever! Nearly 200 classmates, spouses and friends gathered together and, judging by the feedback we've received, a great time was had by all! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our big 4-0 and make it such a great success. We're looking forward to next time! More to come...

Tomorrow's the BIG DAY!

Hey Owls! Hope you all have made your plans by now, but here's some more good news. Free parking will be available at the First Baptist Church (on McCullough), just across the river from the hotel. And, if you didn't have a chance to pre-register for the reunion, no worries. You can still attend and pay $55 (per person) at the door - cash only. See you there!

Hey Owls! Just a couple of weeks until our big 4-0. We've had a great response so far and hope even more of you will be able to join us. There's still time to register...we're accepting checks until July 10th for the advance price of $45.00. Cost at the door is $55.00 per person (cash only), so get that check in the mail today! HHS Fortieth Year Reunion
Saturday, July 18th 2009
6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
at the El Tropicano Hotel

Join us for an informal gathering of old HHS Class of ’69 friends & their significant others and any other HHS buddies/friends. Come and enjoy visiting old friends, sharing a Mexican buffet (cash bar available), and listening to tunes from the 60’s. The food will be served starting at 7:00 p.m. Cost is $45.00 per person (in advance) and $55.00 at the door.

El Tropicano will also have discounted room rates for those who wish to stay at the hotel. The room rate per night is $75 with the option of a king or double room. The cut off for the discounted room rate is June 18th, 2009. Reservations may be made online or by phone by following the directions listed below.

The Reunion is NOT Cancelled!

Hey Owls! There's a bit of confusion about the reunion, so let's set the record straight. The reunion has NOT been cancelled! In an effort to locate as many of our friends as possible, a notice was posted on Classmates.com. The notice automatically generates an RSVP feature that we can't use...so, the notice was removed...which automatically generated an email that the event was cancelled. Anyway, we need your email address for our database so we can send you a registration form after the first of the year. If you haven't already done so, please send your contact info to highlands69reunion@earthlink.net. Our registration form is the only way to RSVP for the reunion!

We'll be enjoying a San Antonio-style Mexican buffet, with fajitas and all the trimmings, a cash bar, great music from the '60s and the company of wonderful friends. Cost is just $45.00 per person (in advance) and $55.00 at the door. Plus, El Tropicano will have discounted room rates for those who plan to stay at the hotel. More details soon!

Hey Owls! We're making plans for our big 4-0! Our reunion is scheduled for July 18, 2009, at the fabulous El Tropicano Hotel on the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk.
